Seeking to expand his musical horizons, he later immersed himself in north Indian classical music, studying intensively under the renowned maestro Ali Akbar Khan in the San Francisco Bay Area.
As a recording artist, Sedler has collaborated with top global fusion ensembles including Davka, Darvish, and Ensemble Chimera. His cello can be heard melding classical western harmony with improvisational scales and ornamentation from India and eastern Europe.
